E-ink display
Set up your display's Wi-Fi
Use this page when your display asks you to finish setup on a computer, for example after a reset. It only tells the display which Wi-Fi to join. Nothing is installed on the display and nothing is erased.
Before you start
- A desktop or laptop computer with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Safari, Firefox, phones and tablets can't do this.
- A USB cable that carries data, plugged straight into the computer (no hub). Many cables only charge.
- Your home Wi-Fi name and password. It must be a 2.4 GHz network.

What happens next
- The display joins your Wi-Fi and says “Connected!”. Give it about a minute and a half. A color e-ink redraw takes 10 to 20 seconds.
- It shows a 6-digit code.
- In Inklyng, choose Add display, pick E-ink, and enter the code.
- The old, grey “offline” display is still in your list. Open it and remove it.
