Inklyng on a TV
Any TV that can open a web page can be an Inklyng display. There is nothing to install: open the TV's web browser, or use an Amazon Fire TV Stick, and connect it to your account.
How it works
- On the TV open its web browser (or the Silk browser on a Fire TV Stick) and go to inklyng.app/go.
- On your phone or computer, log in to Inklyng, choose Add display, then pick the TV or web browser option. Copy the 6-character code from the display's Settings tab.
- Type the code on the TV. A code works once and expires after 5 minutes.
- Choose which screens the TV shows and how long each stays.
Screens you can show
- Photo Frame. Your own photos, cropped for the display.
- Weather. A sky that matches the real conditions, with hourly and weekly forecasts and a radar loop.
- Earth view. A globe lit by the sun's true position and turned to your city.
- Stocks. Prices and a clean history chart, with a scrolling ticker.
- Text. Your own words in the font and colors you choose, sized to fill the screen.
- Message board. A split-flap board of tiles, with emoji, colors and schedules.
- Ai Based. Describe a picture and AI paints it for your screen.
Put as many as you like in a playlist and the display moves through them on its own.
Tips
- On a TV the charts and ticker fill the screen.
- Turn off the TV's sleep timer and screen saver if you want it on all day.
