How to show your own text on a TV, iPad or monitor
Open a display's Text screen in Inklyng, type what you want to show, choose a font and a color, and add it to the playlist. The words fill the screen on an iPad, Apple TV, TV or monitor.
What you need
- A display connected to Inklyng: an iPad, Apple TV, TV or monitor
- A free Inklyng account
Steps
- Open the Text screen. In your account, choose a display and open its Text screen.
- Type your text. A quote, a welcome note, a wifi name or a reminder all work.
- Choose a font and color. Pick a font and color that read well from across the room.
- Add it to the playlist. Include the Text screen and choose how long it stays.
Tips
- For a note that flips onto the screen letter by letter, use the Message board instead.
- Keep it short. Large text is easiest to read from a distance.
Questions
Can I change the text later?
Yes. Edit it from your phone or computer and the display updates.
Can text share a playlist with photos?
Yes. Every display has one playlist that can mix text, photos, weather and more.
