How to show a lit Earth globe on a TV, iPad or monitor
Add the Earth screen to a display's playlist and choose your city. The display shows a lit globe with the sun's true position, turned to your city, with the time and weather beneath it.
What you need
- A display connected to Inklyng: an iPad, Apple TV, TV or monitor
- A free Inklyng account
Steps
- Open the Earth screen. In your account, choose a display and open its Earth screen.
- Choose your city. Search for a city or ZIP code. The globe turns to face it.
- Add it to the playlist. Include the Earth screen and choose how long it stays on screen.
- Check it. Use Show now to jump to the Earth on the display.
Tips
- The lit side follows the sun, so the globe looks different morning, noon and night.
