How to show stock prices and a ticker on a TV, iPad or monitor
Open a display's Stocks screen in Inklyng, add the tickers you follow and add the screen to the display's playlist. The display shows price charts and a scrolling ticker alongside your other screens.
What you need
- A display connected to Inklyng: an iPad, Apple TV, TV or monitor
- A free Inklyng account
Steps
- Open the Stocks screen. In your account, choose a display and open its Stocks screen.
- Add your tickers. Search for each company or fund you follow and add it.
- Choose what it shows. Pick price charts, the scrolling ticker, or both.
- Add it to the playlist. Include the Stocks screen in the display's playlist and choose how long it stays.
- Check it. Use Show now to jump to the screen on the display.
Tips
- Inklyng is a display, not a trading tool. Use your broker for anything you act on.
- Pair stocks with weather and photos in one playlist so the screen is not all numbers.
Questions
Can a display hold the stocks screen all day?
Yes. Choose just that screen, or use Show now.
Does it work on a big TV?
